Terms & Conditions

The rules for using the DriveSync platform.

Last updated: 17 August 2026

Note: this is a general-purpose starting point for DriveSync's terms of service. Please have it reviewed by a professional familiar with Sri Lankan law before relying on it as a binding legal document.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using DriveSync, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Accounts & Roles

A single account may hold multiple roles — vehicle owner, company owner, branch staff, or (by grant only) super admin. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity carried out under your account.

3. Service Centers & Listings

Service centers are responsible for the accuracy of their branch information, service catalog and pricing. DriveSync provides the platform for managing bookings, jobs and invoicing, but is not a party to the service agreement between a vehicle owner and a service center.

4. Payments

DriveSync does not process card payments. Payments against invoices and service charges are recorded manually by staff or admins based on payments made directly between the parties involved.

5. Marketplace Listings

Vehicle owners may list a vehicle for sale. DriveSync is not a party to any resulting sale and makes no guarantees about buyers, sellers, or the condition of any listed vehicle.

6. Upcoming On-Demand Services

Features connecting vehicle owners with independent mobile mechanics and other vehicle-domain specialists are under development and not yet available. Once launched, use of those features will be governed by additional terms specific to that marketplace, including around service quality, disputes and professional conduct.

7. Acceptable Use

  • No fraudulent bookings, listings or invoices.
  • No attempts to access another user's account or data.
  • No use of the platform for unlawful purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

DriveSync is provided "as is." We are not liable for the quality of workmanship performed by any service center or, in future, independent specialist listed on the platform — DriveSync is the record-keeping and booking layer, not the party performing the work.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of DriveSync after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
